Floors that keep a business running
This area has a strong base of distribution, manufacturing, health care and food service, plus a busy downtown with restaurants and shops. Every one of those businesses needs a floor that holds up to its specific abuse. A warehouse floor sees forklift wheels and dragged pallets. A commercial kitchen sees hot water, grease and cleaning chemicals every day. A clinic needs a seamless surface that can be disinfected. We design each system around those demands instead of using a one-size-fits-all coating.
Systems we install
- High-build epoxy: a thick, durable coating for warehouses, assembly areas and storage rooms.
- Quartz broadcast: colored quartz sand locked into epoxy for a slip-resistant, very tough surface in kitchens, locker rooms and restrooms.
- Urethane cement: handles thermal shock, steam cleaning and constant moisture in food and beverage plants.
- Chemical-resistant novolac: for battery rooms, labs and containment areas.
- Flake and decorative systems: for break rooms, retail, showrooms and lobbies.
Planning around your schedule
Shutting down for a week is rarely an option. We plan commercial work around shifts, weekends and slow seasons, and we can split a large floor into phases so part of the building keeps operating. Fast-curing products let traffic return sooner when that matters. Before the job, we walk through access, ventilation, odor control and how to protect equipment and inventory, so the project runs smoothly for your staff and customers.
Prep at commercial scale
Big floors call for big equipment. We use ride-on and walk-behind diamond grinders with industrial dust collection, and shot blasting when it suits the slab. Expansion joints are cleaned and filled with the right material, damaged areas are patched, and old coatings are removed. We test moisture on slabs on grade and check for oil contamination in older industrial spaces, where years of spills may have soaked deep into the concrete.
Safety and compliance
Slip resistance is built into the system with quartz or aggregate in the topcoat, tuned to how wet or greasy the floor gets. Coved bases carry the coating several inches up the wall so there is no seam for bacteria to hide, which helps food businesses meet sanitation expectations. Line striping, color-coded zones and marked walkways help warehouses keep forklifts and pedestrians apart. We can also match floor colors to your branding in customer-facing areas.
Service bays and auto shops
Auto shops and fleet maintenance bays deal with oil, brake fluid, antifreeze and heavy jacks. We use high-build systems with chemical-resistant topcoats and a light texture, so spills clean up easily and technicians keep their footing. Bright floors also make it easier to spot dropped parts and see under vehicles.
Long-term value
A good commercial floor is an investment that pays off in easier cleaning, fewer slip incidents, brighter workspaces and less wear on equipment. When the topcoat eventually wears in traffic lanes, we can recoat those areas rather than replacing the whole system. We are glad to set up a maintenance plan for facilities that want to stay ahead of wear.
Getting a commercial quote
We visit the site, review the operation, measure, test the slab and talk with whoever manages the space. You will receive a written proposal with the recommended system, schedule and price. For offices and retail spaces where looks come first, also consider polished concrete or metallic epoxy. If an existing industrial coating is failing, our repair team can assess it.
Working with property managers
Many of our commercial customers lease their buildings, so we are used to coordinating with landlords and property managers. We can provide product data sheets, safety data, cure schedules and a written scope that the owner can approve before work begins. At the end of the job, you receive care instructions you can hand to the cleaning crew.
to schedule a commercial site visit.
